2006

The year saw a great many changes for the club:

At the AGM in September a presentation was made by the newly formed Golden Phoenix Archers, who were looking for a ground. This club had been set up to cater specifically for the needs of disabled archers, but had nowhere to shoot. The mood of the meeting was very positive and the vote went in favour of Golden Phoenix Archers.

Earlier in the year Steve and Tracy Moseley resigned and Harvey Abrams did not renew his membership. This left vacant posts on the committee. At the AGM, Mike Townsend was elected as Chair and Sheena McCullagh, returning to the fold after nearly a two year break, was elected Secretary for both clubs. Andy Friend was elected as Chair for Golden Phoenix Archers and Records' Officer for both clubs. Ian Lassman and Pete Moore retained their positions as President and Treasurer of Bristol Bowmen respectively.
